This cigar has been labeled as one of the most sought after smokes in the history of Cohiba, and maybe Habanos itself. It began as one of the most elevated cigars on the market as part of the Edicion Limitada series (hence the EL), which are limited-edition cigars. However, the cigar made its return in more quantity from the same harvest. And to no surprise, it’s just as delicious.
This pigtailed Talismán is 6 1/8 inches in length by a 54 ring gauge, making it one of the chunkier cigars that Cohiba has ever made. That is one of the reasons why it carries such prestige. Its flavor is another. Throughout the entire long smoke, the Talismán carries with it the signature Cohiba taste with bold notes of coffee and chocolate with spices that enhance the flavor. These are definitely cigars meant for a special occasion. Break this one out when you’re ready for a lengthy session, when someone ties the knot, or if it’s just a nice Tuesday.
