The Linea 1492, also known as the Siglo series, has been around since the Cigar Boom of the early 1990’s. The Siglo V itself is the longest of the series of six, measuring 6 3/4 inches by a slender 43 ring gauge. Called “dalias” in the rolling rooms, the V is made in the famous El Laguito factory in Havana, Cuba. In fact, it is identical to the extremely popular Partagas 8-9-8.
The Cohiba Siglo V brings the iconic Cohiba taste to the forefront. It can be depended on to always deliver a consistent burn and draw, with the famous creamy light smoke that Cohibas often bring. Most of this comes from the fact that they are given special care, extra fermentation, and made from tobacco taken from the best plantations in the Pinar del Río region. It’s a no-brainer for those looking to enjoy a premium smoke in a longer vitola and dynamic to pair with any drink.
